The CORE Paintball Brigade was founded by a group of Tactical Scenario Players in March of 2000 under the name of OSS Paintball Brigade. The CORE Paintball Brigade is comprised of prior and current military, law enforcement, and private military personnel. Many of our members have prior Speedball experience at several levels of Tournament play and bring a level of fusion and explosive experience to our Hybrid method of play.
Officers and ranks are assigned based on the CORE Ranking System and experience within the CORE. Our strategies, tactics, and training methods are used and implemented by the leading Special Forces throughout the world. In turn our Speedball Training Methods are used and implemented by some of the top professional teams in the sport today. We've researched, modified and implemented these Hybrid Tactics and methods to be used effectively and efficiently in the sport of Scenario Paintball. We have acted as a private paintball group until 2005 perfecting and adapting the real world tactical methods and strategies to fit the new world of Paintball. In 2005 the CORE was founded to open our network to the public and allow new recruits to join the CORE.
Our motto: "Sic vis pacem para bellum," which is Latin for "if you want peace, prepare for war." We have taken this motto and created one of the most efficient and effective Hybrid Tactical Paintball training methods available. We have implemented these methods with each Squad within the Brigade. We have created the tools and methods that will allow any new recruit to run with the most elite members of the CORE.
We continue to recruit and augment the CORE as well as create CO-OP opportunities with other Teams, which will allow the CORE to bring larger groups to Big Scenario Games.
